The crew at the very tip of the Florida Keys during our Scuba Diving trip in June, 2002.
Our first dive for our PADI certification.
Obviously, these deer are very used to getting handouts!
Nothing like fresh air and exercise to work up an appetite!
Matt, the backpacker, has crashed and burned. What do we do now?!
Wow -- Christy's sure having a hard day. At least this is just practice!
In the morning we built a trail to the campsite used for the Large Boat Sailing crews at BSA Camp Allatoona.
We improved the campfire ring at Camp Allatoona by spreading mulch to prevent erosion and weed growth.
A big thunderstorm gave us a good excuse to take a break away from the weather and socialize a bit in the main pavillion at Camp Allatoona.
After finishing the day by setting up 16 platform tents for the Camp Allatoona's high adventure training crews, we got to settle back and enjoy our own campfire!
So ugly it's cute. That's really the best definition of a manatee! Crew 29 went snorkeling with the manatees in Crystal Springs, Florida, over the winter holiday break.
This playful manatee rolls over on it's back to be scratched .. just like a big puppy! (really big -- over 2,000 pounds!)
A very pretty cormorant drying it's wings after fishing in the springs where we were diving with the manatees.

VC 29 members assisted American Legion Post 29 with a flag retirement ceremony in June, 2001.
Part of Crew 29 and leaders at Dicks Creek Gap, ready to start on our first backpacking trip.
Members of VC 29 relax with cards and conversation in the Plum Orchard Shelter on the AT in North Georgia.
